DTC
Our Dance Theatre Company (DTC) Performs locally and nationally, entertaining audiences all over the US. All dancers ages 8 and above are welcome to join DTC. Each season our dancers perform at a Miami Dolphins game, a Miami Heat game, and Universal Orlando's City Walk. Then in addition to those we add 1 or 2 spectacular venues such as The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Grand Ole Opry or on board a Royal Caribbean cruise.
DTC dancers are required to take 4 hours of technique class and 2 hours of rehearsal each week. Dancers that want to participate in our DTX Competition Team must participate on DTC for a minimum of 1 year.
DTXtreme
Our elite group of dancers compete locally and nationally. DTX members are required to take 6 hours of technique class per week plus 2-3 hours of rehearsal. DTX participates in 3-4 local regional competitions and 1 National Competition in the Summer. Under the direction of Alexa Saka, DTX has won numerous top awards including "Best Choreography". DTX members are selected by invitation only.
At Dance Theatre, we are thrilled to introduce our newest venture: the Beat Street Xtreme team! Under the direction of Melissa Florio, with more than two decades of hip-hop experience, Melissa is dedicated to fostering talent and excellence in our dancers. Together, we will break barriers, win competitions, and have an incredible time doing what we love!
